Thanksgiving in Georgia
November 24, 2015
After a few hours on the road and many Eddie Vedder songs sung, I finally arrived in Atlanta. Luckily, traffic was mild and I was able to whip right on through it.
I made it to Corley's abode in the nic of time. What does that mean you may ask? It means, I made it in time to eat some spaghetti and tell endless funny stories.

Morning has arrived and we started the morning with some yard work.
As noon approached, we gathered around the table to eat all of the delicious food Windy made for us. I'm so thankful for these guys, we always have so much fun hanging out together and doing fun things or just sitting around talking and telling stories.

The day after Thanksgiving, we decided to go out and make an adventure. First stop Corley took us to- The Bus Graveyard. If you know Corley, then you know he loves buses, so there was no question about whether or not we would stop and check these out.
Another hour goes by, and we arrived at Tallulah Falls in Georgia. We hiked down the mountain and made our way down to the falls. Sadly, the water was a little too cold for swimming in.
We were a wee bit tired after our hike down the mountain to the falls, but still had some adventure in us so we headed to Black Rock Mountain over in Clayton, GA. We arrived as the sun was setting, and set up a little picnic on the rocks overlooking the valley. The weather had dropped a good bit and the winds were kicking in, not something we had been expecting at all!
Goats on the Roof. That's the name of this place. I can just imagine a bunch of stoners sitting around, laughing, "Hey man, how funny would it be if we just puts some goats on the roof" and that's how this place came to be. It's more of a tourist attraction than an authentic store, but interesting. I really liked their firepit outside, and the fact that you could buy a little s'mores kit to make them over the fire.
