PHEBE DAVIS

Phebe grew up in the mountains of Montana, only coming to Columbus to visit her family. By the time she was sixteen, she graduated from high school and it was time for her to decide on where she would attend college. Phebe chose the Mississippi University for Women here in Columbus, Mississippi. This is where I met Phebe years ago. I just woke up from a nap and went to subway with one of my room mates, they were talking and I had mumbled something about waking up from a nap, where Phebe chimes in about how she slept in a lettuce field once. Literally one of the coolest things ever, which meant that this chick was probably super adventurous. I handed her my phone and got her to put her number in so we could hang out later. Ever since, she has been one of my best friends.

Phebe is one of the most talented people I have ever met. She knows how to play various instruments, such as the piano, violin, guitar, ukulele, and probably some more. She writes a lot of her own music, as well as does cover songs when she plays her shows. We hang out at least once a week to jam out, where Phebe does improv songs and I just kinda throw out topics and record it all. She comes up with the chords, lyrics, chorus, all on the spot! Amazing!

I'm so happy that I met Phebe many moons ago, talking about naps in lettuce fields and other odd places. We've been on many adventures together, drank a lot of tea, and jammed out too many times to count, I'm gonna miss the heck outta her when she moves to Rwanda. Be sure to check her out on Youtube and Instagram!
